A Money Management Program
The Senior Checks program is a free Money Management program that aims to strengthen older adults' ability to remain independent by offering assistance with their day-to-day financial management needs.
Senior Checks matches older adults who are struggling to read their mail, write checks, balance their checkbook, or complete important paperwork with volunteers who are screened, background checked, and trained.Volunteers in our program can assist older adults with various tasks such as organizing bills, preparing checks for signature, applying for benefits programs to lower monthly expenses, reviewing monthly expenses, and setting up a budget.
We provide services through Bergen County Division of Senior Services at no charge to eligible clients. This program is open to Bergen County residents ages 60 and over. To sign up, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call (201)-530-6756
