Sept 15 - Music: Ikh Zing by The Murad-Zinger Duo The Friends of the Teaneck Library are pleased to sponsor Music on a Sunday Afternoon. “Ikh Zing” by The Murad-Zinger Duo – A performance of traditional Yiddish music, with vocalist Nicole Murad and pianist Pablo Zinger. Sept 27 - Armchair Tour of West Africa on the East Coast Join Dr. Michael Norris and you explore the cultural tapestry of West Africa through centuries of art from within its 18 present-day countries, especially the Benin kingdom of the Edo people. Included will be sculpture, metalwork, and ivories from local museums, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Princeton University Art Museum.
