Helping Hands Food Pantry - 201-837-1600 x1825 For Teaneck residents who are in need of assistance by providing weekly, non-perishable food to help supplement the cost of food. Tuesday and Thursday 12:30-2:00 pm Thursday 6:00-7:00 pm
Teaneck Public Library - 201-837-4171 TPL is now a pick-up location for Field Goods locally-grown fruits and vegetables every Thursday! Pick up time is between 11:45 and 8:30 pm. Order deadline is Mondays by 11:50 pm. Pick up bags at front desk.

Safely @ Home - 201-518-1175 Home safety modifications offered by Jewish Home Family to ensure that those seniors who are aging in their own homes can do so safely in the community. Seniors can opt into the membership program to receive services or volunteer program to aid their peers.
Snow Shoveling Assistance - 201-862-1200, ext 1603 Residents in need of snow shoveling assistance (for a nominal fee) during the winter months may contact Miss Witter at The FORUM. This is possible through the Teaneck Council and The FORUM at Teaneck High Snow Removal Collaboration.

Good Morning Check-Up Program - 201-837-2085 Ensures safety and well-being of registered Teaneck seniors through daily phone call check-ins by the Teaneck Fire Dept.between 8:00 - 9:00 am
CHEER Program - 201-489-9454, x203 Through the Bergen Volunteer Center, volunteers help with shopping, errands, light housekeeping, etc.
JFCS: Senior Care Services - 201-837-9090 Telephone Reassurance: Weekly calls to homebound seniors keeping them connected to the community and giving peace of mind to seniors who live alone. Friendly Visitors: Matches seniors with volunteers that provide companionship through weekly visits.
Seniors for Seniors - 201-880-9139 An educational program under the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care in the State of NJ that is designed to provide tools/methodologies to enable seniors to be empowered and effective advocates.
