Age-Friendly Teaneck will be joining the Township, the Senior Citizens Advisory Board, Chamber of Commerce and several Teaneck business associations in an exciting new initiative that we will bring more business to Teaneck stores and restaurants while providing an incentive to Teaneck seniors who prefer to shop and dine locally.
Businesses who participate in the new Teaneck Business/Restaurant Discount Program for Seniors will be offering a discount to senior residents. The discount is at the discretion of each business – could be a free beverage with lunch, a free dessert with dinner, a 10% discount on Tuesday (or any or every day of the week!)
A directory of the businesses participating in the Business/Restaurant Discount program is being created that will include specific information about the discount being offered by each business.
The directory will be posted on Age-Friendly Teaneck’s website, the Township website and the websites of the other sponsoring organizations, which includes the Teaneck Road Business and Community Alliance, Cedar Lane Management Group and businesses and restaurants in the DeGraw Avenue/Queen Anne Road and the West Englewood Avenue/Plaza shopping districts. It will also be printed and distributed to the Rodda Center, the Library, the Municipal Building, and other locations.
A decal will identify the businesses and restaurants that are participating in the discount program.
For more information, or if you are a business owner who wants to join the program, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
